Depending on where you choose for your starting location, there is a different introductory quest. Its purpose is less story oriented and more geared toward teaching you game mechanics without losing the immersive feel of the game. Beyond that quests will be story oriented and branching with interconnected branches. I'll add an illustration for this later.
