Mammoths

Very little is known about the creatures that appeared after the portal incident. They are grotesque in appearance, walk upright, and seem at least somewhat intelligent. They proved aggressive and intuitive hunters, and as such took very little time to wreak havoc.

Physical Traits:

Height: 12 meters

Weight: 3 Tons

Locomotion: Bipedal

Intelligence: Mostly unknown. They appear intuitive and intelligent but appear to have no verbal language.

General Appearance: Mammoths are huge. They dwarf small buildings with their sheer size. They have an almost glossy skin that seems covered with a dark slimy substance, but their skin is not smooth. It is rough with the texture of damp rusty metal, almost black in color. Generally though they maintain a general humanoid structure with two eyes, and a mouth, two arms, two legs, etc. They don't appear to have a nose, although their mouth is elongated into almost a short snout which looks strange because there are no nasal openings where one would expect them. Their eyes are a bright bright yellow, and are enormous proportionally to the head. They are deeply inset into the mammoths faces and appear to have no eyelids. No one has ever encountered a mammoth slumbering so it is generally assumed that they do not sleep at all.
