Religions: Kvalisian Religion · Oron Religion · Vaalorian Religion

This article is a Stub and needs expansion.

Since the three Kingdoms differ blatantly in parts, we need at least three different religions. On the other hand since they are all on the same continent and commerce with each other, there should have been some cultural merging which also extends to religion. Furthermore the great destruction may had an influence on them or at least on the religious pratices.

But since it is a game all this should not be too complex. If we had 50 different dieties and another 300 lesser dieties and variants it may become very difficult for roleplayers to enjoy the game. So I am trying to keep balance between realism and simplicity.

The Past

Kvalisian Mythology – Ghosts, Gods and the eternal struggle

For full article see Kvalisian Religion.

The world is alive. Every little thing is possessed by Tsuvs (roughly translated ghosts or, depending on their strength, gods). Tsuvs gain strength through worshipers. In the beginning their tasks in the cosmological order were given. Some possessed the little things, like trees and stones, some on the other hand possessed the sun, the moon, the stars. But as all beings Tsuvs seek power. It was not long that they realized how important the position in the cosmological order is for the amount of worshipers one has. For most people it was more important that the sun shone mildly on their crops and the moon lit their ways in the dark, than it was that this single tree on their fields grew faster. So the Tsuvs began to fight. Whenever a Tsuv was defeated the winner of the fight would gain the position of the looser and vise versa. Since then the eternal struggle began, Tsuvs are in constant rivalry. It seems that these fights follow a somehow given cycle. And so every 4 years the priesthood of Kvalis gather for a few days to announce the new positions of the great Tsuvs (which fulfill the very important tasks in the cosmos).
